Nina Hirai ('23) Presents at the Society for American Archaeology Conference in Chicago (Spring 2022)

In April, Nina Hirai (’23) and Professor Brunson presented at the Society for American Archaeology (SAA) conference in Chicago. Nina’s research highlighted her research on oracle bones in East Asia. The poster was an analysis of two ancient Chinese sites and compared taxa selection for oracle bone divination and the depositional contexts that these bones were found at each site. Professor Brunson presented on some new findings about the use of deer species in Ancient China.
