Pumpkin Carving with Stone Tools (Fall 2024)

On October 25th, the Archaeology & Anthropology Collections and the Archaeology program hosted the fourth annual Pumpkin Carving with Stone Tools event. Over 70 people, including students, faculty and their families, and university staff, attended. Attendees enjoyed a fall evening while they learned how to use stone tools, such as awls, projectile points, and scrapers. Professor Jayson Gill also provided a demonstration in making stone tools.
